this is the first day of my life

I realized today that I only have 6 more days of work left. Then it'll be August, and I'll have to quit being indecisive and make my end-of-summer plans definite, as opposed to 85 or so percent sure. I'll also have to, unfortunately, read all the books I could potentially incorporate into my thesis. But on the plus side, I won't have to study for GRE's, so I'll focus on that for now and feel absolutely euphoric.

There's extremely, extremely little for me to write about today. Unfortunately, that whole philosophical living in the moment plan I had got disrupted by life's everyday demands, the things I must get done. This means, of course, Harry Potter. It's so annoying. I just want to be finished with it already, before some idiot ruins the ending for me.

What else, what else? My hair has been growing unbelievably fast. My nails are a complete wreck, and I find myself not caring at all. My credit card bill is monstrous. I have a kickass playlist to listen to on the train every day. I've managed to keep off all the weight I've lost. Oh, and the guys at the sandwich shop laughed at me for freaking out about not knowing what kind of bread I wanted for my sandwich.

Resolution #3: Be more decisive. Don't get laughed at by sandwich men.
Resolution #4: Buy rain boots. Except that's not really a resolution...it's a to-do. Oh well.
To do #2: Find out why the hell I never realized that the dad from Mean Girls is Janitor from "Scrubs." Seriously though, it blows my mind.
